The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile is making a Tri-State visit. It's in Evansville, with a scheduled stop tomorrow from 12pm to 5pm at Lloyd Crossing, 401 N. Burkhardt Road.

"We would relish seeing you," they say on the Facebook page.

It's actually been in town since Tuesday.  In fact, our own Brandon Bartlett couldn't resist snapping a photo in front of it last night (see below).

Did you know there are six Weinermobiles (that we know of)?  It even has its own blog.

A birthday party turned into chaos at an east side McDonalds Tuesday night. 

According to a police report, a woman came into the store a little after 9 for a birthday party and asked the store if the ice cream cake she was bringing could be put it in the restaurant freezer.  

Employees did so but when it came time for the tasty treat, the party-giver became enraged over its condition and accused a store employee of dropping it.  The restaurant employee, who indicated the cake was already melting when it was brought in, says s

EPD:  Woman suspected of huffing causes havoc behind wheel of SUV

An Evansville woman was arrested after police say she led them on a chase that ended in a crash Thursday afternoon.

Police say they were called to Walgreens at Weinbach and Covert for a report of damage to parked cars.

Officers say they caught up with the SUV a few blocks away and described driver Ashley Roberts, 30, as "delirious."

Police say when they tried to get the keys from Roberts, she drove off with officers still clinging to the vehicle.
