More than 3700 cast ballots at Washington Square Mall

More than 3700 cast ballots at Washington Square Mall

Maybe it's because everyone knew where it was.  Maybe it's because they knew there would be plenty of parking.  Maybe people nearby were just excited about casting ballots.

Whatever the reason (or reasons), Washington Square Mall was the most popular place to vote on Tuesday.

Figures released by the Vanderburgh County Clark's office show over 3,700 people voted at the mall between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

In all, 42,942 people went to the polls on Tuesday.
