Car hits meter causing gas leak
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- Crew were called to a parking lot on Evansville's east side because of a gas leak.
The leak was at a strip mall on the corner of Boeke and Washington Ave. A firefighter on the scene told 14 News an older man drove over a parking bumper and hit a gas meter on the side of the building.
Traffic was shut down in the area for about 25 minutes.
Vectren has shut off the gas. The driver was not hurt.
