Muslim students from the University of Evansville joined others nation wide as they reached out to share information about their religion and culture.
The students handed out flowers with cards to the lunch crowd at the Ridgeway Center on campus.
They shared a message of mercy and love. There were 8 different quotations among the cards handed out to classmates and others today.
"We chose some quotations from the prophet Muhammed, the Islam Prophet, the Islam leader, who taught us to be in good manner and filled us with more than any others," said Mustafa Alhajji, a UE student. "So, we are sharing that human quotation about love and peace."
The university says this is a wonderful example of diversity in both culture and religion among their students.
