Supreme Court sides with UE over professor's firing | News
The Indiana Supreme Court has upheld the University of Evansville’s firing of a tenured professor who was accused of violating its sexual harassment policy eight years ago.
Professor John Haegert sued the university over his firing and the case eventually made its way to the state’s highest court.
Haegert was fired in 2004 after an incident involving the former English department chari Margaret McMullan.
McMullan’s complaint led to an extensive university review and eventually, Haegert was let go.
