EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)-
If you need a big screen to watch the big UK-Duke game Tuesday night, you can find it at Showplace Cinemas on Evansville's east side.
You can start heading to Harbor Bay Restaurant inside Showplace East to get your free ticket for Tuesday night's game.
In years past, people have been able to come and watch sporting events here like the BCS Championship game or the NBA All-Star game, but they had to buy a $25 ticket.
Mark Stieler, Director of Operations for Showplace Cinemas, says Tuesday's showing of the UK-Duke game won't cost you at all, though only the first 250 people will be able to get those tickets.
A wait staff from Harbor Bay will be available to come take orders while you watch. You will have to pay for your food, and alcohol will be allowed for those 21 and over.
Stieler says the picture is great and they'll have the surround sound going, too.
"We expect a big crowd just because it's a great game, but you know we're going to have a lot of other great games coming up. IU vs. North Carolina and there's a lot of football games you know, we'd love to do the Super Bowl, so we're going to try to do some big events on this and we think it's going to be very well-received by the public," Stieler said.
The game is set for 8:30 p.m. and they plan to open screen 18 shortly after 8:00 p.m. for people to come get their seats.
In two weeks, it's your turn IU fans. They'll have the IU-UNC game.
