Car, motorcycle fires appear intentionally set | News
A 31-year-old Evansville man watched his car burn Wednesday night, apparently at the hands of an arsonist.
It happened after 10 p.m. near Bradford Pointe Apartments on East Michigan Street.
Police say the man told him there were no problems with the vehicle when he parked it about 45 minutes earlier.
Several people were standing around the fire but none had any information on a possible suspect.
Police believe a motorcycle may have also been set on fire about the same time on Sweetser Avenue. There was a trail of gasoline leading to a small fuel container in the front yard of the home where the bike had been parked.
Evansville firefighters extinguished the blaze.
