Churches fish fry schedule for Evansville's east side | Events

Lent is right around the corner.  If you're ready for a fish fry, courtesy of the Evansville Catholic Diocese, here's a list of where and when they're happening in the Evansville East Deanery.

Nativity, Evansville, every Friday during Lent, Feb. 15-March 22, 4:30-7 p.m.; serving fried catfish fillet or baked tilapia, salads/vegetables (potato salad, mac-n-cheese, vinegar and creamy slaw, green beans, breaded tomatoes, cottage cheese, applesauce, beets), dessert, drink, cheese biscuits; $9/adults, children 8 and under are free with purchase of adult dinner.

St. Benedict Cathedral, Evansville, every Friday during Lent, Feb. 15-March 22, 5-7 p.m., St. Scholastica Hall cafeteria; serving Icelandic cod or fried catfish, two sides (German potato salad, baked beans, creamy or vinegar slaw, green beans), bread, dessert beverage, $9/adults; $5/children includes cheese pizza or fish, one side, beverage; carry out available.
