Strummin' bummer: Man steals guitar from east side music store | Crime

Evansville Police are looking to find a man with an ear for music but the heart of a thief.

They say he walked into Opus One Music on North Royal Avenue about 7:45 Wednesday night and asked to see an acoustic guitar.  A store employee handed it to him, then left the room.

That's when the visitor headed back out the door, guitar in hand, and jumped into a waiting car.  Police say the store employee told them there were three people, including a driver inside the vehicle.  It's possible based on a description of the vehicle that the thief may have USI connections.
