Break-in at Book & Music Exchange

Evansville Police are looking for the person who broke in to the Book & Music Exchange on Washington Avenue just after midnight Friday.

Police say a man wearing a gray jacket, red ski mask, jeans and gloves smashed the front door of the business with a large piece of concrete.  He was carrying a dark-colored shoulder bag with light colored handles.

Officers say he then went to the back of the building and broke a window in an apparent attempt to secure an escape route.

He then took the stone to a locked display case containing Play Station Portable devices and PS3 game consoles and tried to break the glass.  It's not believed anything was taken, however.

Police are reviewing store security video.
