Nathan Schroer, Evansville Police Detective, is fighting leukemia for the second time.  He is also interim pastor at North Woods church, a loving husband and father of three.

Nathan has been with the EPD since 2002. He has been assigned to Motor Patrol, the Crime Prevention Unit, and the Narcotics Unit. His current assignment is at Holly’s House, where he investigates domestic violence and sex related offenses.

His family will be facing a large financial burden to treat leukemia and he will be traveling to Texas next week.

To help defer costs of treatment, donations can be made at the Ohio Valley Financial Group on Burkhardt Road. near Vogel.

All proceeds will be used to help with travel and treatment expenses.
